Enclosure and card trays

The current FreeCAD, STEP, and STL files are prototypes. They have not been qualified for production or checked against a finished PCB. Do not order a batch of enclosures from these files yet.

The main device works independently of its card tray. A separate tray can attach magnetically to either side. Both single-row and three-row designs are included, with 12-, 30-, and 114-card examples. Each groove is sized for a 50 × 85 × 1 mm NTAG215 card.

The 114-card single-row tray is 466 mm wide. The three-row version occupies 162 × 174 mm. Both use the same side-docking locations. Check the available tabletop space before choosing a layout.

The enclosure includes a screw-retained bottom battery hatch and internal magnet keepers. The battery holder, speaker, display mounting, screws, and connector positions still need verification against the selected components. Battery charging and power switching are electrical functions; an enclosure model does not validate them.

For a first fit study, inspect each part in your slicer and print small samples of the card grooves, magnet pockets, and screw bosses before committing to a full enclosure. Print orientation and support requirements vary by part; the assembled export orientation is not a printing recommendation.

The developer enclosure chapter explains the native sources, coordinates, generation process, and geometry checks.
